LOS ANGELES – JUNE 2, 2015 – A mix of established and rising independent developers are set to display their upcoming titles at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles later this month in partnership with independent game publisher Versus Evil.  Six varied and high quality games will be playable at the Versus Evil booth, West Hall #5522.

  • The Banner Saga 2

Developer: Stoic Studio

Genre: Tactical RPG

Platforms: PC/Mac

Release Date: 2016

Description: A playable demo will debut from the eagerly awaited sequel to the critically-acclaimed award winning The Banner Saga and will expand on the previous game’s deep Viking-inspired story, introduce a cast of new characters and offer improved graphics and features.

 

  • Skyshine’s Bedlam

Developer: Skyshine Games

Genre: Turn Base Strategy, Roguelike

Platforms: PC/Mac

Release Date: 2015

Description: Bedlam is a hard hitting roguelike strategy game that takes place in a unique but dangerous post-apocalyptic world. Indie developer Skyshine Games have created a unique universe with fast-paced combat and a wealth of choices in a randomly generated world, all of which combine to make an incredibly replayable game.

 

  • Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma, Volume 1

  • Guild of Dungeoneering

Genre: Dungeon Master RPG

Description: From Irish developer Gambrinous, Guild of Dungeoneering is a turn-based dungeon crawler with a twist: instead of controlling the hero you build the dungeon around him. Using cards drawn from your Guild decks, players lay down rooms, monsters, traps and of course loot.  Meanwhile the hero is making his own decisions on where to go and what to fight.

 

  • Kyn

Developer: Tangrin Entertainment

Genre: Action RPG

Platforms: PC/Mac/Linux

Release Date: Summer 2015

Description: Kyn has been developed by just two guys in the Netherlands over the last three years and offers gamers a fully-fledged traditional RPG experience.  In a world where Viking mythology collides with magic, gamers will be able to explore the world in this fast paced role playing game while controlling up to six warriors in party based combat.
