First Class Trouble
Versus Evil Accounts Update
Hey, everyone. I’m Steve Escalante, founder and General Manager of Versus Evil. I want you to know that we at Versus Evil have been listening to the First Class Trouble community regarding your concerns with your Versus Evil account. So, I thought it would be best if I reached out personally.
Let me start by saying that our decision to require accounts was based on improving your game experience. Whether you are talking about the “Metaverse”, cloud-saves, or cross platform play, an account system unifying these modern features is essential.
Still, it was not an easy decision. We knew that some players would not react positively. That said, because of the multiplayer nature of this game, we were seeing numerous errors that a sophisticated account system would eliminate, as well as having the ability to provide future benefits that only such a system could deliver.
However, we’ve heard your feedback regarding the requirement for a Versus Evil account, and our goal as a company, above all else, is to deliver the best player experience possible. With that in mind, we’ve made the decision to remove the Versus Evil account to play First Class Trouble. This change will be reflected in a small game update available shortly.
I want to go on record that we still believe that this is the best path forward, but we’re hitting pause on it for now as we rethink the registration flow, integration, and migration process. That is where I feel we need to do a better job to meet your expectations and to make it a better overall experience.
This decision we have made is because you, the community, gave us solid feedback. It is our sincere desire to continue improving and streamlining your game experience and making it as hassle-free as possible. I encourage you to continue to constructively engage with our teams, providing us feedback, and in return, our promise is to actively address those concerns and continue improving the games and services we provide to you.
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Steve
