Q: What is the closed beta for Gladiator: The Unconquered? What is its purpose?
A: We want to test the online functionality of the game, so it is optimized at launch by slowly letting more and more players join the closed beta. We’re looking at the backend of the multiplayer architecture as well as ensuring all of the correct data comes and goes from the server to the client.
Q: How long does the closed beta run?
A: The closed beta will be beginning soon and will run until an estimated late summer 2020. Timeframes are subject to change however.
Q: Is Gladiator: The Unconquered for children?
A: No. It is for mature audiences only.
Q: How can I access the Closed Beta?
A: Go here and sign up. You will be invited once availability opens up. Registration does not guarantee you access.
Q: Can I invite friends to the beta?
A: Anyone can sign up for the beta however signing up does not guarantee access.
Q: Can I play with friends during the beta?
A: If they have access, then yes.
Q: Can I stream or capture my time with the closed beta?
A: There is an NDA built in to registration for Gladiator: The Unconquered’s beta sign up. You cannot, at this time, capture or share or any media from Gladiator: The Unconquered’s closed beta. We will inform the community once this is lifted.
Q: What is the Versus Evil registration that goes with the Gladiator: The Unconquered sign up?
A: Your VersusEvil.com registration is your profile for Gladiator: The Unconquered, but it eventually will become your ID to receive gifts, promotions, and communications from Versus Evil. Q: When will the final Gladiator: The Unconquered release?
A: We plan on launching in 2020, but first foremost we will launch the game when we feel it’s ready.
Q: Will I keep anything I’ve unlocked or achieved from the closed beta?
A: At this point we’re not sure what players will keep from closed beta to live game. However it’s likely beta players will be rewarded in some fashion.

Q: Does this support controller functionality?
A: Currently controllers are not supported, but that functionality will be added at a later time. It may not be added during the beta.
Q: Does the closed beta run in my country?
A: Anyone can sign up for the beta. We’ll be determining availability as we closely monitor the game’s performance.
