Hello Villagers! Last week was the perfect mix of chaos and immaculate vibes✨ with the Black Girl Gamers.
At Versus Evil – we were looking for the perfect organization to partner with for the launch of Eville. We knew it had to be a group of talented folks who fit the chaotic & scheming vibes of Eville & Black Girl Gamers was the perfect choice. They have an incredible launch week activation program, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out for Eville. From BTS content to interviews to the absolute anarchy of their Demo Day (play session of Eville), they put on such an incredible show.
Who are the Black Girl Gamers?!
Black Girl Gamers houses the largest gaming safe space for Black Women in the world. It is a multi-platform gaming community of over 8,000+ Black Women that is age and LGBTQIA+ inclusive!
Not only do they create safe spaces, but they also put on one hell of a show!

Q: How was your experience with Eville?
I loved the art style and haven’t seen a game like this in the social deduction category! The in-game voice chat is such a good feature, and I loved the day and night cycles; it made me want to make sure I got all my quests done before the day was out!
Q: What did you enjoy the most about the Eville takeover during Launch Week?
I enjoyed day four because the energy and vibes were amazing; everyone got to play together for the first time, and it was so fun! I also loved day two & three because Neidio/Louis and Zale/Hendrik killed it! Seeing how their minds work and how the ideas of Eville came to life was so fascinating!
Q: What was it like to work with us? Be honest 😏
It was amazing! When talking with Dave & Sydney, it was so easygoing and didn’t feel like work; it felt like talking with your friends; you gave us such free rein on our creative ideas, we didn’t need approvals, and you were so accommodating, which was a breath of fresh air for us and other companies should take notes from your books!
Q: Any shoutouts?
A: I want to give a shout out to my boss for believing in me and the rest of my lovely team!
