Hey folks, VS Dave here!

You already know the Versus Evil name, but who exactly are the people hard at work behind the scenes to bring you the best indie games around? Well, allow us to formally introduce ourselves!

This week, the series continues with Andrew, another one of our amazing Marketing Coordinators. Andy is a content generating machine! He’s the one who edits together the brilliant streamer clips we share on social media, and is a master of transitions and 3D camera manipulation. I rely on Andy a lot for community team work, and his creativity never ceases to amaze me!

Meet Andrew (but everyone calls him Andy)

Marketing Coordinator

How Long have you been at Versus Evil?

I’ve been working with VE just a little over a year now. I started on September 21, 2020.

What do you do here?

I help the marketing and community teams on any projects we are working on, by creating and providing any creative assets that are needed. I’m also the one who captures gameplay footage of our games. [EDITOR’S NOTE: Andy is also the one who typically handles tech support and OBS training for the n00bs on our team].

What’s your favorite game of all time?

My favorite game of all time would have to be Kingdom Hearts 2. My best friend and I are big fans of the series, but Kingdom Hearts 2 is the one game that brings me back to the good old days of being a kid (before I got into shooters XD).

If you could design your perfect game, what would it be like?

I play a lot of competitive games, and sometimes I need a casual game to cool me off. Probably an open world RPG with a great story and memorable characters. A game that’s filled with so much content that you never run out of things to do. Since this is my “perfect game,” it’s also got to have a great multiplayer experience, and lots of new content to keep players coming back for more.

What do you do for fun outside of work?

Nowadays, I find myself playing more games with my friends and family. Due to the pandemic, I started to watch a lot more movies and tv shows. A couple of my friends got me into Anime and now we do anime watch parties.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have a dog and his name is Yo-Yo. He is a 3-year-old Yorkshire Terrier and he’s like the little baby brother I never had. His favorite things to do are going for walks, play, cuddle, and he loves meeting new people. My favorite thing about him is that he’s always there to brighten up the day. He reminds me to keep going and try to enjoy life.
